We wanted to let you know that we've made the difficult decision to close VFXMatch. We know this might be disappointing news, especially if you've been using the site to showcase your work and connect with opportunities.
The good news? A friend of ours runs Artistash, which is essentially what we were trying to build but with way more features and a much more active community. We think it's a great alternative and wanted to point you in that direction.
A couple of important things to note:
- We are not sharing your data with Artistash (or anyone else). You'll need to create a new account there from scratch if you decide to join.
- We will be securely deleting all VFXMatch data on March 31st, so make sure you've saved any information from your profile that you might need – portfolio images, your bio, rates, etc.
We really appreciate you being part of VFXMatch, and we're sorry we couldn't make it work. We hope Artistash turns out to be an even better fit for you.
